On a more personal note, these comments from two of our members:
The Company of St. Anne is the premiere Known World Wide SCA Equestrian Tournament Company. The primary goal of the far-flung membership of the Company is to promote, through every avenue available, the art of the equestrian tournament thoughout the Society for Creative Anachronism. It is a brother/sisterhood of like-minded individuals who attempt, through their efforts individually and as a a group to enhance that which is best and brightest in the Society, specifically through the promotion of the equestrian martial arts. This is accomplished through a number of avenues. Our members are active in their individual kingdom in equestrian activities, and we specifically showcase and promote the equestrian martial arts via sponsoring high heraldic SCA equestrain tournaments, known as 'emprises', the foremost of these being traditionally held at Gulf War, sponsored by the Kingdom of Meridies in March each year. Additionally, our membership strives, on an individual (and also a collective) basis, to assist wherever possible with educating those interested in the historical use of the horse and translating that into a 'modern' adaptation within the Society for Creative Anachronism.

What Is The Company of Saint Anne?
The Company of St. Anne is an interkingdom equestrian group dedicated to the recreation of the riding skills of the medieval knight. The Company is
composed of horsepersons of proven experience and skill from many kingdoms. The members of the Company seek to promote competitive and chivalric equestrian events and chivalric ideals throughout the Knowne World by example, leadership, participation, and encouragement.
What is the Basis for the Selection of Members of The Company of Saint
Anne?
Whenever a horseperson has consistently demonstrated skill in chivalric equestrian arts, a member of the Company may nominate that person to the rest of the Company as a candidate for membership. Factors to consider include riding skill, chivalrous comportment, the use of proper medieval equipment, bardings, and riding attire, and any other factor which would reflect upon that person's dedication to, and ability to further the values and goals of the Company.
